There´s piano on this record. I don´t know if John played it, but there´s definetely an acoustic and an electric piano.

I loved this song from time I first heard this in late 1973-74. I did not get the album until 1982. Mind Games will always be a favorite of John Lennon’s of mine.

I remember hearing this song on the radio in late 73-early 74 and instantly loving it. It remains a favorite of mine of John Lennon’s. I didn’t get the album Mind Games until 1982, along with McCartney’s Band on the Run for my 16th birthday.

This is one of my favorite John Lennon songs, with such a powerful melody I agree with the above comments on The Beatles website. This is a great song that like the album of the same name deserved better in the chart rankings than what it got.You are completely right if it had been released in the period after Imagine it would have done better.Thematically this album and song are very akin to Imagine as well.
