Great info. Have wondered if Jimmie continued on with music. I think his angle is interesting enough for a book as that interview was very interesting. I can understand his perspective. What a name, The Shubdubs. Very percussive sort of name.

Regarding “Nicol played eight concerts with The Beatles”; two in Denmark, two in Holland, two in Hong Kong and then two plus two in Adelaide makes ten, even without using my tiny calculator. But what traveling to do for just a few shows! But of course, scheduling shows with a logic to it was never one of Mr Epstein´s strengths. The 1966 tour was almost as whimsical and ill-planned.

I like Beatles. Well, a lot of the more rockin songs anyway and not so much the smarmy love song shit. However, It is a fact that if Brian Epstein hadn’t after an exhaustive 10 week search finally called Ringo to ask him to play for them, Richard Starkey would today be a retired factory worker in Liverpool.
